1932 Lincoln KB Phaeton

With its massive 60-degree L-head V12 displacing 448 cubic inches and grand 145-inch wheelbase chassis, the 1932 KB represents peak Lincoln prestige in the ‘30s. With at least 150 horsepower on tap, it was also an exceptional performer, putting Lincoln in the thick of the fight with Packard and Cadillac for luxury car supremacy. To satisfy the desires of discriminating customers, Lincoln offered a plethora of attractive body styles for the KB chassis. Many factory bodies were designed by Walter Murphy, while there were also “Custom Catalog” styles built by prestigious firms including Murphy, Brunn, Waterhouse, Judkins, and Dietrich.

This appealing KB is one of just 24 produced with the sporty and elegant 7-passenger Sports Tourer body, designed by Murphy and built by Lincoln’s in-house bodyshop. It is the recipient of a well-maintained older restoration, and has been in the care of a passionate enthusiast for many years. It is presented in very good condition, with an attractive two-tone livery, and outfitted with period accessories including dual side-mount spares, folding rear windscreen, and luggage trunk. With its powerful and refined V12 engine and luxurious trimmings, this elegant Lincoln represents both an outstanding value, and an outstanding opportunity to join the ranks of classic-era touring enthusiasts. This vehicle just arrived, and a full description is coming soon. Please contact Hyman Ltd for more details.
