1990 Ferrari Testarossa Coupe

When it was introduced in 1984, the Testarossa marked an important step forward for Ferrari and served as the top of the range model for the rest of the decade while becoming one of the company’s most popular models. Designed for series production, the Testarossa continued Ferrari’s tradition of twelve-cylinder performance but packaged it in a more modern mid-engined configuration that could be traced directly to the 512 and 312 sports prototypes. Expensive, fast and styled by Pininfarina with innovative side strakes directing air to a pair of rear-mounted radiators, an instantly recognizable shape. The Testarossa was one of the most memorable cars of its day. More than a few of them were driven hard and suffered from deferred maintenance, so strong and well maintained examples, like this one, are now increasingly appreciated among collectors.

This 1990 Ferrari Testarossa is a very clean, properly maintained and pampered example that has seen little use and still presents beautifully in its original condition. Finished in the rare and appealing combination of Argento (silver) over red leather, it has Michelin tires, an Alpine stereo system and a K40 radar detector. Included are service receipts dating back to 1997, and this car received the all-important 30,000 mile belt service. Today, it still shows just 38,500 miles. With low mileage, clean presentation, proper maintenance and a rare color combination, it is a pampered and very usable example of one of Ferrari’s most famous and popular high performance berlinettas.
