With the 3.8 liter B-spec head and overdrive, this XK 150 3.8 Drophead Coupe is one of the finest examples of the XK Jaguar ever built. Completed in September 1960, just months before XK 150 production ended to facilitate Jaguar's changeover to the new E-Type, it incorporates virtually every development and improvement discovered in the decade plus of XK Jaguar production including the all-important disc brakes to offset the performance of the 220hp 3.8 liter XK engine. Finished in Old English White with Red leather upholstery and a Black cloth top and boot, it sports SE equipment (fog lights, fender mirrors, and chrome spoke wire wheels), overdrive 4-speed transmission, bumper over riders and a Leaping Cat hood ornament. Comprehensively redone, it is a beautiful driver with excellent paint, new chrome and very nice leather interior. The engine compartment has been detailed to highly presentable condition. With its lined Drophead coupe top and rollup windows this is a Jaguar that can be driven with confidence in any conditions and shown with equal pride in very discriminating surroundings after arriving.
