The Stylemaster was Chevrolet's refined, low-key sedan delivery for 1948, more closely related to Chevy's passenger car lines than to its 3100 series light trucks. The long front fenders stretching back into the doors, raked vee windshield, split chrome grille, chrome bumpers and windshield surrounds marked the Stylemaster as a prestige model. Its curbside opening rear door enhanced its practicality in urban delivery applications. This Stylemaster has been restored to AACA National First Prize winning condition in Grey with a Dark Grey roof, Red coachline and Black leatherette upholstery. Fitted with wide whitewalls, fog lights, hubcaps, wheel trim rings, factory radio and bumper over riders, it is beautifully restored, detailed and presented. It has been hand-painted with "Community Chevrolet" dealer service and parts vehicle livery including "Radio Dispatched" flashes on the fenders that recall the glory days of American automobile dealers in the late Forties. It needs absolutely nothing and will always bring smiles and happy memories to onlookers.
