1966 Ferrari 275 GTS

Ferrari's 275 GTS Spyder was the open top complement to the great 275 GTB. Using the same engine, fully independent suspension chassis, rear-mounted transaxle and brakes, the 275 GTS combined great performance, great Pininfarina design and the pure pleasure of high speed open air motoring into a package that is today highly appreciated by collectors. Only 200 were built during a run of just two years in 1965-66. The coachwork was designed and built by Pininfarina. This example, chassis number 07007, was restored in Italy in the early 90's, and then brought to the U.S. where it was sorted and refined by the specialists at Bob Smith Coachworks in Gainesville, Texas. Smith's shop is legendary for its immaculate Ferrari restorations. Its clients have many Ferrari club and Concours trophies to show for the shop's work. This car is presented in red with tan leather interior and a black cloth top. It rides, as most 275 GTSs do, on lightweight Borrani wire wheels and has been meticulously and continuously maintained by Bob Smith Coachworks since it came to the U.S. It is in excellent condition, essentially like new and very correctly presented, ready to be driven, toured or shown with pride and confidence
