1931 Ford Model A

This is one of the most rare and desirable of all Fords, the two-year only A400 two-door convertible sedan with fully framed side windows. It comes from a respected museum in the South where it was properly and accurately restored years ago (it proudly bears a plaque recognizing its participation in the "Model A Restorers Club, 1963 GA Show"). Finished in Dark Green with Black fenders, the interior is Light Brown and the folding top is Tan cloth. It’s extremely rare body is equipped with dual chrome wrapped side-mounted spares, cowl lights, running board step plates, Quail radiator cap, rear view mirror, opening windshield and rear luggage rack. The Light Green wire wheels mount a set of black wall tires which perfectly complement the body style and colors of the car. It is everything anyone could expect from a Model A which has been properly restored by experts using quality materials and workmanship. The paint, chrome and interior are still extremely good for their age and will present well at any show or gathering yet are not too good to be driven and enjoyed. Few collectors have ever seen one of these Ford 2-door convertible sedans which are not at all surprising. Only 4,864 of the A400s were built, followed by just 842 Model 18 V-8 and 41 Model B 4-cylinder 2-door convertible sedans in 1932. It will be the center of attention anywhere it shows up and will only rarely have to share the spotlight with another like itself.
