Nash-Healeys are attractive two-seaters with the outstanding attributes of eligibility for early 50's events, great reliability, Pinin Farina design and widely available parts and service support. Little known, however, is the fact that there are two series of Nash-Healeys, the 1951 cars like this one, built with alloy bodies by Panelcraft in England, and the subsequent high production series bodied by Pinin Farina. Only 104 of the Panelcraft Nash-Healeys were built and even fewer survive today. This 1951 Nash-Healey was the subject of a full, proper restoration five years ago. It hot only has Cibie headlights, correct Nash-Healey hubcaps, black wall tires, heater, full instruments and the pull-up side windows which are correct for the Panelcraft Nash-Healeys. Importantly, it has both the very rare correct factory Nash aluminum cylinder head and a 3-speed factory overdrive transmission. It is probably the best Nash-Healey in the world, and if it isn't it is so close as to make no difference.
