1957 Nash Ambassador

Nash built only 1,605 of the Ambassador Country Club 2-door hardtops in 1957, the marque's last year. Among the distinctions of this limited production year and model was the first appearance of quad headlights, only recently permitted by revised highway regulations, and featured a distinctive panoramic wraparound rear window. Powered by the big 327 cubic inch AMC V8 engine with 4-barrel carburetor, dual exhausts and 255 horsepower, the Ambassador had performance to match its distinctive appearance. This example is a standout in Red and Black with matching interior accented with Silver piping. In addition to the big Ambassador V8 and automatic transmission, it has factory air conditioning, power steering, power windows, a continental kit and power antenna. It has been restored to a high standard, is extremely well detailed under the hood, has very nice paint and chrome and an attractive interior. With its dramatic color scheme separated by a lightning bolt chrome side spear this is an automobile that doesn't just attract attention, it demands it.
