Hugh Chalmers advertised his automobiles as "All you can ask in a Motor Car" and this 1912 Model 9 Torpedo Roadster demonstrates the validity of his claim. Remarkably, its history is known from 1917 and it still has its original 2-seat Torpedo Roadster coachwork. It was restored some time ago and now is delightfully patinated. Equipped with Solar headlights emblazoned with the Chalmers script, brass kerosene sidelights, Motometer, bulb horn and dual rear view mirrors, it has enough brass to make an admiral happy. It needs nothing at all to be a charming car for brass and gas events, tours and weekend jaunts.
