1910 Buick Model 10 Touring

In 1910 Buick built nearly 10,000 more automobiles than Ford. Production of the Model 10 alone, with its 22.5 horsepower 165 cubic inch valve-in-head four-cylinder engine and two-speed planetary gearbox, was 10,998 cars, over half of Ford's 1910 Model T production of 19,050 units.

Identified by their bright white paint, the Buick Bugs driven by Bob Burman and Louis Chevrolet ruled America's race tracks. This 1910 Buick Model 10 Touring is a prime example of the quality, performance and style that made Buick one of America's most popular automobiles and the centerpiece of Billy Durant's new General Motors.

Fully restored in white livery accented with gold coachlines that emulates the proud identity of the Buick Bug racers, it has black leather upholstery, a black cloth top and an abundance of bright brass highlights including radiator, Rushmore acetylene headlights, wheel hubs, windshield frame, steering column, horn, instrument panel, acetylene generator, taillight and Buick-branded Motometer. Brightly varnished wood artillery wheels and wooden running boards accent the coachwork and brass.

The restoration was correctly done and has been freshly detailed to high standards. This is a significant automobile and one that will be driven proudly around town, in parades and on open road tours of brass era automobiles while also being shown proudly and with great satisfaction. Buick proudly proclaimed, 'When better cars are built, Buick with build them' and this 1910 Buick Model 10 Touring proves the veracity of its claim.
