An exceedingly rare early post-war AC, fitted with handsome two-door sports tourer coachwork by Buckland Body Works of Hertfordshire. One of only 85 produced and just three known survivors with straight door tops. This car boasts intriguing and well-documented history, having been purchased new by Mr. John Moir, who would later become a noted marque enthusiast and collector. After selling the car to a teacher in 1956, he reacquired it thirty years later and treated it to a comprehensive restoration to return it to the exact specification as he ordered it. As offered, it wears a well-preserved restoration and is as-delivered in black with special-order roll-up side windows. An attractive, fascinating, and rarely seen touring car from AC, highly eligible for many prestigious pre-57 driving events. This vehicle just arrived, and a full description is coming soon.
