1936 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Gentleman’s Coupe

This beautifully styled and meticulously restored Rolls-Royce 25/30 2-door saloon is a striking example of J. Gurney Nutting’s coachbuilding mastery. The striking and stylish Gentleman’s Coupe body is the ideal sporting complement to the robust 25/30 chassis. Delivered new as a dealer demonstrator for Allied Motors, Ltd in Bombay, India, it is believed to have been used or owned by the Maharaja of Kotah in the late 1930s. It later returned to England, before spending time in California in the 1970s, only to return to England in the 1990s. Restored by a passionate Finnish enthusiast, it boasts one of the most meticulously documented restorations we’ve encountered, with eight volumes of records, receipts, correspondence, and photographs. Now pleasingly mellowed since its exhaustive early 2000s restoration, this alluring Rolls-Royce is ready for a new custodian to cherish and maintain its fascinating legacy. This vehicle just arrived, and a full description is coming soon. Please contact Hyman Ltd for more details.
