We seem to be enjoying a run of exceptional Buicks, including this highly original and exceptionally appealing 1947 Roadmaster Sedanette with the big 144hp 320 cubic inch overhead valve inline eight and 3-speed manual transmission. While it has had some paint and chrome work to maintain its appearance, most of the paint, chrome, and interior are original and in outstanding condition. It is finished in discrete black with grey and tan striped cloth upholstery and is fitted with radio, heater, clock, grille guard and a pair of Buick-branded fog lights as well as the rear fender skirts which were a Buick hallmark. The red painted wheels have hubcaps, wide trim rings and wide whitewall tires, as any self-respecting Roadmaster should. The engine compartment is tidy. The dashboard and instruments are handsome. This is an impressive automobile that evidences continuing care and attention throughout its pampered life. It will be a proud possession for its next caretaker.
